The objective of the Social Action Committee is to come to the aid of people in suffering, by providing them psychological or financial assistance. The vast majority of these people are referred to us by the social workers of the Casip-Cojasor Foundation.
Our activities take place throughout the year and every year around January we organize a lunch during which a prestigious guest is speaking. Our last guests were political scientist Frédéric Ancel (2020) and Professor Lionel Naccache (2019).
I WANT TO TAKE PART OF SOCIAL ACTION, WHAT CAN I DO?
Psychological support
Our volunteers actively listen to elderly people who often suffer from loneliness and isolation, despite the presence of children and professionals. This is done through visits, outings, or phone calls. And little by little, through this link, social life is reintroduced. This activity will only take as long as you want to devote to it. The demand is great and we cannot meet them all.
I WANT TO SUPPORT SOCIAL ACTION, HOW TO DO IT?
Financial support
-
For the benefit of the people we visit during the main festivals,
-
For holidays: camps for children or for parents, trips organized by schools,
-
For medical care (optical, dental, hearing),
-
